At Custom Furniture Design, we are committed to delivering your custom-made furniture safely and efficiently. Please read the following information carefully to understand how our shipping process works.

Processing & Production Time

All our pieces are custom-made to order. As such, production times can vary depending on the complexity and size of the furniture item.

  • Production Time: 4–10 weeks from the date of order confirmation and deposit / payment made.

  • You will be notified via phone or email once your item is ready for delivery.

Shipping Methods & Delivery

We can deliver Australia-wide using a combination of trusted services and our own team for local deliveries.

  • Local Sydney Deliveries: Handled by our in-house delivery team. We will contact you directly to schedule a convenient delivery time.

  • Interstate Deliveries: Shipped via reputable third-party freight carriers. Delivery timelines typically range from 3–10 business days after dispatch, depending on your location.

Delivery Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on the size, weight, and delivery location.

  • You will need to contact us to finalise delivery costs.

  • For oversized or complex deliveries, we may contact you to confirm access (e.g., stairs, lifts, narrow entrances) and quote accordingly.

Delivery Access & Conditions

Please ensure that your premises are accessible for delivery.

  • It is your responsibility to inform us of any access limitations (stairs, elevators, tight spaces).

  • If delivery is unsuccessful due to incorrect information or inaccessible premises, re-delivery charges may apply.

Pickup Option

Customers may also opt to collect their order directly from our factory by appointment. We will contact you to arrange pickup once your item is ready.

Damage During Transit

We take great care in packaging and handling your furniture.

  • Please inspect your item upon delivery.

  • If your item arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours with photos, and we will assist you in resolving the issue promptly.

We currently ship within Australia. For special delivery requests, please contact us prior to placing an order.
